Daniel Shimko graduated from Boston College in 2005 and attended New York Law School earning his degree in 2008. Mr. Shimko was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2008 and the New York Bar in 2009. He has since been admitted to the Federal District Courts for the Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, District of New Jersey, Northern District of Illinois, and Eastern District of Michigan.
Throughout his career, Mr. Shimko has successfully litigated countless cases, ranging from complex business disputes to medical malpractice actions, brought before the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey. Mr. Shimko employs thoughtful strategy and litigation tactics to obtain the best result in each case.
In 2013, Mr. Shimko was recognized by the New York Law Journal and VerdictSearch in their issue of Top New York Verdicts of 2012 as among “the best of the best” New York lawyers. Mr. Shimko’s verdict in Allam v. Meyers, a domestic violence case tried in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, was listed as one of the top 10 intentional tort verdicts obtained in 2012 for all of New York.
